I hope you all have a blessed feast of the Epiphany!!!

I apologize for letting so much time lapse between posts. It was a busy end of the semester, and I was more concerned with spending time with family and friends over break than with posting. However, I have nothing but good news to report regarding both the end of the semester and break.

As the semester wrapped up, we hosted a Christmas party and challenged our students to bring friends. Several new students did indeed make an appearance. I spoke with one freshman girl who initially became tied in with Intervarsity, however, as a Catholic, she eventually found that all her spiritual needs were not being met in an inter-varsity group. She is excited to find a group of faithful Catholics that will help her to lead a specifically Catholic Christian life. In general, the evening was a blast and I enjoyed wining the gingerbread making contest—my team of all girls totally rocked the competition (all in Christian charity of course!)

I was blessed to be able to go home for a couple weeks to spend Christmas and New Years in N. VA. God provided me with lots of opportunities to tell my wonderful ministry partners first-hand what was happening on campus. I treasured the time I was able to spend with my sisters and parents playing games, talking, and goofing around together. I was able to also see some of my old college friends, my old roommate, and my boyfriend for a couple days too! Now, I am rested and ready to dive into a new semester of service for Our Lord.

Please pray for the missionaries and students as we prepare for a leadership conference for our student leaders and as we launch into a new semester. We have a lot of new, creative ideas for outreach on campus—ask God to give us the energy and perseverance necessary to accomplish His will!

Thank you and know that you are all in my prayers daily too.
